MAC – Military Affairs Committee – Chairman: Jimmy Boozer

The Military Affairs Committee is a volunteer committee whose mission is to support activities that protect and enhance the military installations in Beaufort County, and improve the quality of life of military families in the region.

MEC – Military Enhancement Committee – Chairman: Jim Wegmann

The Military Enhancement Committee (MEC) is an appointed board housed under the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce to address military issues at the local, state and federal level to encourage protection and enhancement of all three military installations in the Beaufort area.  The MEC champions the community and its bases during the BRAC process and works to enhance the bases.

Meets monthly at the Chamber Office (701 Craven Street).

Government Affairs/Workforce Development Committee – Chairman: Martin Goodman

The Government Affairs/Workforce Development Committee exists to create a vibrant, regional economic environment in Northern Beaufort County through research-based advocacy, private sector engagement, and strategic coordination of education and workforce resources.

Meets monthly at the Chamber Office (701 Craven Street).
