Election Day is finally here! We urge each and every one of you to fulfill your civic duty by exercising your right to vote. It is so important to make your voices heard. If you need more information before casting your ballot, please visit our Election Center page on our website.

No matter what the outcome of the election is, we ask that you please take a few minutes to complete the 2017 Legislative Survey. The Legislative Survey is so important as it helps us to identify the priorities of our membership and guide us on where to focus our attention and efforts. By taking the survey, you will also be entered to win a special prize from us!

Happy 241st Birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps on November 10th! As the Marine Corps celebrates another year, we would like to thank all of our local Marines and their families for enriching this community and making it a better place to live and work. We work closely with leadership at each of our three local military bases and are thankful for their service and commitment to our country and this community.

Beaufort is also surrounded by so many courageous Veterans who have faithfully served and fought for this country. I encourage you to thank our Veterans and show your support at the Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony this Friday, November 11. The parade will begin in downtown Beaufort at 9:30 a.m., and will follow the traditional route of Rogers Street to Boundary, Boundary to Carteret, Carteret to Bay Street, ending back on Rogers Street. The parade will be followed by a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Beaufort National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

We hope you will join us for Business After Hours at Summit Place this Thursday, November 10 at 5:30 p.m. See you there!
All The Best,

Blakely Williams
