Governmental Affairs Committee – Chairman:Kevin Dukes

The Governmental Affairs Committee is an appointed committee that assesses and develops potential business advocacy positions to take to the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for consideration of adoption.  


MAC – Military Affairs Committee – Chairman: Jimmy Boozer

The Military Affairs Committee is a volunteer committee whose mission is to support activities that protect and enhance the military installations in Beaufort County, and improve the quality of life of military families in the region.

MEC – Military Enhancement Committee – Chairman: Jim Wegman

The Military Enhancement Committee (MEC) is an appointed board housed under the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce to address military issues at the local, state and federal level to encourage protection and enhancement of all three military installations in the Beaufort area.  The MEC champions the community and its bases during the BRAC process and works to enhance the bases.

Economic / Workforce Development Committee – Chairman: Pat Stanton

The committee’s primary role is to act as a catalyst for conversation between the different workforce and economic development stakeholders in the region in order to determine the optimum ways through which the Chamber can support and enhance ongoing economic development initiatives. The committee is further charged with investigating and evaluating ways through which existing Chamber functions or departments can be leveraged to enhance the region’s economic development.
