About Our Chamber
We serve a community of small businesses – some 2,600 businesses are located within 30 miles of Beaufort, employing 24,000 people. More than 90 percent of these businesses employ fewer than 100 people, and these businesses employ an average of nine people.
These small businesses depend on the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce to advocate their positions to local, state and federal leaders; to provide information on how they can improve their business; to help them connect; and to provide the support that helps level the field.
Welcome to the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, and welcome to the Lowcountry!
To be the most influential organization in the region creating the preferred community to invest, prosper and enjoy.
The Beaufort Regional Chamber exists to manage and build capacity for continual community growth by advocating for a pro-business environment and building quality workforce development in order to enrich the region’s quality of life.
To support our mission and vision, the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce will continue to focus our efforts in the five “pillars” of emphasis: tourism, military enhancement, member services and business advocacy, economic development, and education/ workforce and leadership development. The Chamber provides business growth and learning opportunities to help businesses be more productive and profitable, as well as advocacy and community development initiatives to build a favorable business climate, creating the preferred community to invest, prosper, and enjoy
